What to Keep & Duplicate Copies
- General Sisters of Life books and periodicals: If Schlesinger or Harvard Library already has a copy of a book or periodical issue (print or electronic), do NOT add a 2nd copy (even if Schlesinger does not own). Mark as DUPE DUP (with a slip- Sisters of Life dupDUP) and when a Paige box is full of dupsduplicates, give to Curator for review for donation, sale, etc.
- VOLCOM books and periodicals: Add all VOLCOM titles/ issues to Schlesinger, even if Schlesinger (or Harvard) already owns a copy(s)). However, if the VOLCOM collection contains 2 copies, keep only 1 VOLCOM copy and set aside any dups. for Curator review. If there is more than one VOLCOM copy, add to collection the one with any inscriptions for context and provenance.
