Summary

  1. Susan, Adrien, and Dorothy attending SAA next week.
  2. Lewis on vacation from next Tuesday until September 4.
  3. Performance Conversations are all done.
  4. September will be a busy month - Alma workflow and changes; students will be back for the semester.
  5. Alma check-in  meeting will be set up scheduled after SAA to check in with people.
  6. Susan, Vernica, and Adrien met to work out the LDR and 008 code issues -- Will set up templates for everyone to use; code "pc" (mixed material) will be used in LDR for archival materials; fixed issues with dates field in 008 to be OCLC compatible.  All documentation available on wiki.
  7. Search to fill Elaine's position will begin this month.
  8. In September, Horblit room will be the focus in preparation for the renovation next year.
  9. Waiting for a report from the Strategic Planning Task Force. Site visit with the architects occurred 8/9/18.
  10. Patron orders for digitization have been steady.
  11. DRS documentation will need to be looked at for improvement of workflow.
  12. Lewis is waiting for renaming of SharePoint where all the financial information is found.  Will migrate in September when Lewis returns from vacation.
