- When an Alma record is updated via Search Resources or Connexion, the Alma bib field 914 will NOT be retained.
- For example, if the Alma bib has 914, and you use Search Resources to "Copy & Merge" a newer record, the Alma bib 914 will be removed.
- If you update the bib via Search Resources or Connexion, and you still want to prevent the record from being reported to OCLC, you will need to re-add the 914.
- For catalogers not performing original cataloging in OCLC Connexion, Data Sync for manuscripts only will be addressed in the next phase once OCLC data matching process for unique materials is fine-tuned.
