  1. Perform a search or filter that produces a result that includes items you want to push to DRS2.
  2. From the EAS Brief Display, select all items or a subset of items. See "Selecting Records for Bulk Operations" for more information.
  3. Click the Push to DRS link that displays above results. In the pop-up window, click the Push to DRS button to confirm and initiate the push.

Once a push is initiated, the EAS Prearchiver utility builds one or more DRS batches and deposits them to a secure DRS dropbox. The Prearchiver checks for newly pushed content every five minutes (at :02, :07, :12, :17, :22, :27, :32, :37, :42, :47, :52, :57 minutes past the hour). Pushed email content can take anywhere from a few minutes to an hour or more to deposit depending on the amount of content that was pushed.

A standard DRS success (or failure) report will be sent to the EAS user who performed the deposit. You can use the batch ID or batch name in the report to find batch and its objects in Web Admin.

Back in EAS, the pushed email content will no longer be available. Also note that the original packet files as received from the donor will be retained in the EAS file system indefinitely.
