1) Option #1 Conduct a physical title search for the title, -In the persistent search bar? yes click on the ... Buttonellipsis button, select Edit record, --Pushes one into the MD Editor. Correct? yes Whatever is opened in the MD Editor, we must remember to Release the record when done. Correct? the cataloging classes will cover this; I "think" there will be an automatic release of records after a set period of time as well click on the View Inventory icon, select View items under the appropriate holding record. Then click the checkbox to the left of each item you wish to merge into one bound item. Then click the Actions drop-down menu above the list of items on the left side of the screen and select Bind items. – The Actions drop-down menu is on the right side, not the left side. Correct? yoiu can feel free to correct things like thi; the displays tend to change frequently, so it is probably best to delete statements such as on the left --dab I do not see the 'Bind items' option. Under 'Actions' I only see Change Holdings. Example: Journal of community archaeology & heritage. Selected v.3 no.1-3 (2016) --it is there for me: maybe you are set up to only be able to edit certain library's items/holdings etc?? try finding a widener example--dab
2) Option #2. Conduct a physical title search for the title: click on the ... Button, select Items (or click on the Items within the Physical inventory summary). This will bring you to the List of Items page, check off the boxes to the left of each item you wish to bind, click on Actions drop-down menu at the top left side of the screen, select Bind Items. --Again, I see Actions on the right side and only Change Holdings as an option. I do not see Bind Items. .
3) Option #3. Conduct a physical items search; click on the ellipsis and choose Items; the physical item editor will open up for that item How does one know their in the physical item editor? I seemed to go directly to the List of Items page. I think if there is more than one item it would open up the item list, if there is only one item, it opens up the physical item editor ; ; click on View all items in the description area. Is this the Status filter with 'All' selected? no, it is a command in the blue description area of the item in the physical item editor This This will bring you to the List of Items page, check off the boxes to the left of each item you wish to bind, click on Actions drop-down menu at the top left side of the screen, select Bind Items. Same as above, I do not see 'Bind Items'
4) Option #4. During the receipt process; click on the ellipsis and choose Manage items; either next to an existing or newly created item, click on the ellipsis and choose Edit inventory item ; the physical item editor will open up for that item; click on View all items in the description area. This will bring you to the List of Items page, check off the boxes to the left of each item you wish to bind, click on Actions drop-down menu at the top left side of the screen, select Bind Items.
