When the 977 fields contains $w (container identifier), the data in $w is pre-populated into the Aeon form (staff view only) when the View in Library link is clicked. As of the August 2019 release of Alma this pre-population is not occurring. We have a high priority ticket with ExL and are expecting a status update very soonExpect resolution: October release.
NOTE: the 977 field does NOT generate a View in Library link. The View in Library link is present when: there is an item record, and the library/location participates in Aeon, and the item policy is 91 (Special collections requestable).
