General Enhancements

  • New video on how to use Alma's Holdings Records search: Search for Holdings Records video (1:49 minutes).
  • Two new columns, Records Processed and Records with Exceptions, were added to the Monitor Jobs page. Use open hidden columns icon.pngto select and display.

  • The Chrome High Contrast extension now works with Alma (image below). High contrast is also supported in Firefox for Windows machines.

Enhancements

  • Date filter fields in the various subject areas can now be filtered by Current Academic Year.

  • Object Type field was added to Analytics Usage Tracking > Query Details. It indicates if the object type is dashboard or widget.
  • Rep Availability field was added to Digital Inventory > Representation Details. It indicates if the representation is active or inactive.
  • The number of retrieved titles now appears at the top of each tab of the Title Level Overlap Analysis dashboard: Number of Retrieved Titles
  • Additional security enhancements were implemented to block reports to which you are not allowed access.
  • In continuation from the October release, additional irregularities across several subject areas, including typographical errors, inconsistencies between common fields, and missing fields were corrected.

  • Electronic Material Type field (E-Inventory > Portfolio) is not updated with information from Alma. This was fixed.

Acquisitions/Finance

  • Fixed issue where changing expected receipt date in a PO line was not recorded in POL history.


Course Reserves/Leganto

Enhancements

  • See Upcoming Behavior and Design Changes to see planned changes that will affect the experience of your users. 
  • Leganto now enables you to choose a sort method when exporting a list.
    When exporting to Microsoft Word, users now have the option to Sort by: Bibliography style or List order.
  • The default sort method is defined in the citation_export_style_order (Leganto Configuration > General > Settings) parameter.
  • You can now filter the Date Field (Leganto Student Usage and Leganto Instructor Usage Events > Event Date) by Current Academic Year,
  • Following the addition of the Library-External tag type in the October release, Instructors can now receive notifications when Library-External tags are added or removed. Enabled in are enabled in Configuration > Leganto > Features > Notifications - instructors. These notification types are disabled by default. Notifications are also be sent via email when the Leganto Detailed Notifications Email Letter General > Letter > Letters Configuration (default disabled) is configured.
  • Leganto no longer includes the option to upload a file from the CiteIt! window. Users can still upload a file when editing a citation.

  • You can now customize the Publish button tooltip without changing the label.
  • Previously, only list owners could move or copy citations in a list. This was fixed.
  • A message now appears for empty sections

E-Resources

Enhancements

  • Online Services Order, preference to electronic resources with ordersWhen presenting electronic services via Alma Link Resolver, you now have the option to prefer services of collections/portfolios with a linked PO line. If enabled, services for portfolios with a PO Line–either at the e-collection-level or on the portfolio, are displayed first. This overrides the default alphabetic sorting, as well as the Top Services section. This functionality will not be enabled at this time.

  • Fixed issue where the SUSHI account filter in the uploaded files list did not return files.

  • 3 new import profiles have been added for staff use. These profiles add holdings/items to existing bibs. Items can also be added to existing holdings. Profiles can load Books, CDs, and DVDs. Staff new item, old or /new holding - multiple formats (CSV)

  • New related holdings feature: search results now include links to Holdings of Related Records, and Items of Related Records. In the first image below, volume 19 of the series Advances in industrial and labor relations was cataloged separately. You see its holding (HD58.7 .R47 2021), and the Related Holdings, which represents the holdings at the series level for Advances in industrial and labor relations. Using the new "Holdings of Related Reords" link takes you to a holdings search results where you can see additional holdings details and items (second image below). (CIick images to enlarge.)
