The following updates have been made and , where applicable, deployed to the live environment : in mid-July:
- CURIOSity (Online digital collection and exhibition system):
- A large number of accessibility issues were remediated, including but not limited to enabling the use of the auto-translator button, correcting some headings styling issues, making collection titles on the homepage keyboard accessible, and fixing a few focus-state issues
- JSTOR Forum Processing (Homegrown services to work with JSTOR Forum data):
- Deletes sent to HOLLIS from JSTOR OAI are now being correctly concatenated and processed
- Full sets for Primo ingest are now being correctly concatenated
- LibraryCloud (a collection of APIs that provide access to data from the Harvard libraries):
- Some new mappings were implemented to support the forthcoming Black Teacher Archive exhibit in CURIOSity
- MPS (A system for presenting and delivering images and other library content):
- MPS Asset Delivery Service was modified to allow for more delivery location options, which will allow us to provide better delivery in Harvard Geospatial Library and others
- ArchivesSpace (archives information management system for Harvard repositories):
- Investigations were conducted on migrating/updating two ASpace plugins (Authentication and Aeon Requests)
- Work continued on the integrations of the ASpace API with the Apigee platform for broader read-only API access to staff
- Other work:
- DRS Storage Manager was retired (replaced by ocfl_storage which mediates interaction with preservation storage)
- Evaluation/planning of upgrades for various Ruby-based applications (applications like Harvard Geospatial Library, CURIOSity)
- ListView will be transitioning to use the new MPS service, and infrastructure work around that was completed.
