Adding and removing titles to collections
Thumbnails for titles within HOLLIS Staff Record Sets
If already Alma-D, go to View All Representations, Properties tab > Thumbnail upload. Limit to 100k.
If not using Alma-D, create representation. Add as auxiliary. Then same as above
Creating a collection (LTS only)
See below about bibs.
Description will display to user. Supply instructions if needed.
Upload "blue fade" thumbnail.
Associated bibs in Alma
Each Collection and Sub-Collection record in Alma has a corresponding bib record. The bib is created automatically when collection/sub-collection is created, and should be edited per the following instructions.
- Each bib should have the 914 No-WorldCat field
- If the Collection is strictly for Alma internal use to help manage Alma-D collections:
- the bib record should be suppressed
- in the MDE, add suffix " - Alma management record" to the 245 $a
- If the Collection is for the HOLLIS Staff record sets feature
- do not suppress the bib
- in the MDE, add suffix " - HOLLIS "Staff record sets" management record" to the 245 $a
