Sign Up for/Edit Direct Deposit
Through the PeopleSoft portal, paid employees enter/update their direct deposit information. You cannot sign up prior to your first day. The University takes 5-8 business to process these requests so it is strongly encouraged to complete this on your first day. Details instructions can be found here. Please also note:
- You cannot withdraw from direct deposit through Self Service. Contact University Financial Services for assistance at (617) 495-8500, option 4.
- Please elect to no longer receive a paper copy of your pay advice. This saves paper, printing, and delivery costs. Harvard policy does not allow both a direct deposit and a physical check.
Benefits Enrollment
Through the PeopleSoft portal, benefits-eligible employees have 30 days to elect/opt out of benefits coverage. If you have any questions regarding benefits enrollment, please contact the benefits office at 617-496-4001.
