Purpose: This document is meant to replace the Born-Digital Dealer/Donor Questionnaire, which is now depreciated. This questionnaire should be filled out during acquisition and should help guide Houghton staff in preparing born-digital content for safe transfer. The information ascertained from these questions helps facilitate and ensure proper and thorough transfer and processing of born-digital content. Please note that delays in properly processing and capturing the content may result if this information is not gathered and sent to the Digital Archivist. The purpose of this guide is to help curators identify and appraise materials to support processing goals.
