Accessing library systems

Login requests

For Aeon, Alma, ArchivesSpace, DRS, and HART, submit a Houghton Login Request Form (form link also available on the Technical Services Department Forms wiki page). Accounts cannot be created before a user has a HarvardKey and the user's email address must be the one that is connected to HarvardKey while working at Houghton.

If a user will be working remotely, they will need to have the HUL tunnel added to their VPN login for ArchivesSpace and some other systems. VPN requests should be submitted to Houghton's IT liaison, the Director of Operations and Finance.

For OCLC accounts, contact the Head of the Rare Book Section.

Connexion

OCLC cataloging at Harvard is done through OCLC's Connexion desktop client, which only runs on Windows. Follow the instructions on the LTS Connexion Configuration Settings page to download and setup the client.
