About ProQuest ETD Service
ProQuest ETDs is a service, hosted and supported by ProQuest, that enables Harvard schools to manage electronic theses and dissertation submissions from their students. Each school has a separate admin site with minimal local customizations. At each site:
- Students can upload a thesis along with other information
- Schools can manage the submission review and acceptance workflow
After submissions are published to ProQuest, Harvard receives the submitted files and a METS file which are used for depositing the ETD into DASH and DRS. A second process creates records in HOLLIS so patrons can search for the ETD.
Log In to ProQuest ETD Service
and the ETDs are deposited to DASH, made discoverable in Alma, and preserved in the DRS.
For ETD discovery and preservation related to DASH, Alma and DRS, please see the ETDs@Harvard project.
