The Digital Repository Service (DRS) is Harvard University's preservation repository, which has been in-production for over two decades, since 2000. The core system is responsible for safeguarding the authenticity, integrity, and usability of the ingested digital collections and connects with a spectrum of storage solutions. The DRS is contextualized within a broader ecosystem of integrated platforms that facilitate data deposits ingest and subsequent discovery and delivery, as well as curatorial and administrative control.
