If you want your photo to be available on your academic, follow the steps below.

  1. Photos should be cropped to a square and at least 800px wide in order to optimally appear on the new profile. The position of the crop is important too, follow this guide on how best to crop images:

    Photoshop offers a free online image cropping tool. When downloading the result, set the filetype to JPG, and quality to 95%. Additionally, as of this summer 2020, with very few exceptions, all Harvard University Faculty, Staff, and Students are eligible for Adobe Creative Cloud with 100GB of Adobe Cloud Storage.   2. Go to your Catalyst profile and click "Edit My Profile". You should see the below screen. Click on "Photo"



  3. Click on "Edit Visibility".



  4. Click on "Public," the page will auto-save. After the next nightly update, your photo will be visible on your Faculty and Researcher Web Profile page.
