Coordination with Owning Repositories for Over-the-Counter orders

When a copy order is placed through HOLLIS Special Request (https://aeon.hul.harvard.edu), it is routed automatically. If the owning repository uses Aeon, the order will be routed to that repository. If the owning repository does not use Aeon, the order will be routed to Imaging Services.

Some repositories have in-house digitization services and can complete and deliver patron orders on their own. In these cases, Imaging Services is not involved.

When Imaging Services is used for digitization, sharing of the Aeon order and communication between the owning repository and Imaging Services is necessary.
