Use-Driven Conversion of a Collection List

The Susanne Langer papers had an extensive inventory but it was not online. A large portion of the collection was called back from the Harvard Depository for use by a researcher. With the boxes onsite, it was a good opportunity to convert the collection list and consolidate various accessions into a finding aid. Some series have more extensive description while others are left described at the series level.

Susanne Langer papers

The Werner Wilhelm Jaeger papers also had an extensive paper inventory but it was not online. A researcher was set to visit and so the inventory was entered into ArchivesSpace. Portions of the collection are described by the box but some portions of the correspondence were further listed by correspondent.
