Present: Adrien, Dorothy, Lewis, Linda , Susan (minutes)



GENERAL

Susan:

  • Have gotten most Workplans and we seem to be on track to finish on time.
  • We are ready for our TS FY21 priority planning on Oct 5
  • FC books vacuuming cleaning started so that they'll be done for the collections move
  • Irina joining Dale/Matt onsite on Wednesday mornings starting Oct 7
  • We are sending batches of the Boston Ballet Slide collection to Lilli for processing so that they can be digitized by the Picturae folks while they are onsite in Lamont.
  • Folks are submitting wonderful YPE proposals--keep them coming!


Discussion about the 541 and putting costs of items in the field.  We all agreed that given this information is in the Acquisitions module, and everyone can access it, there is no reason to include the cost of items in the 541 anymore.  


UPDATES

Adrien:

  • ASpace PUI and Archives Joint Processing working groups are collaborating with SPAR on a description ethos statement that will hopefully not only be on the ASpace PUI front end but also Hollis/Hollis Images
  • ASWG meeting with LTS on a maintenance plan for ASPace going forward and ways to continue to improve the system
  • Starting our monthly education and training meetings in conscious and inclusive description later this month
  • Assisting with YPE proposals

Dorothy:

  • Patron scanning is going well.
  • Dorothy will be scanning for Meg's cataloging project next week
  • Dorothy will be presenting a webinar on conscious editing next week

Lewis:

  • Activation of new Buy2Pay and he and Meg have starting using it.
  • Invoices going out smoothly.
  • LD&I working group very active right now.
  • Discussed with Melanie about some outstanding archival materials; curators have not announced their plans for those materials so they’re on hold.

Linda:

  • Adrien, Lewis and Linda finalizing project guidelines for Vernica with routing slip consolidation
  • Finalized draft guidelines for Meg's pamphlet cataloging project in support of digitization project
  • Linda and Vernica, with Adrien's input, will set up an Alma publishing profile for Houghton
