Alma Governance

Harvard's adoption of Alma in 2017 - 2018 was overseen by a project team consisting of leadership, technology, and functional experts.  This project team continued to work on post-implementation tasks through early 2019.   At that time, redesigned groups of leadership, technology, and functional experts were formed to provide ongoing support for the Harvard Alma users in several key areas:

  • policy decisions
  • prioritization of projects
  • workflow documentation
  • system testing
  • communication to larger community
  • maintenance and development of training documentation

The Governance structure includes an oversight committee and three functional committees.
