JSTOR Forum Support for Harvard Library Staff

Updated March 2023

! Issue: Encountering urgent JSTOR Forum performance problems such as system slowness or unavailability

Action 1:  Email the Harvard JSTOR Forum listserv (harvard-shared-shelf-users@calists.harvard.edu) to ask if others are having the same problems. See http://calists.harvard.edu/mailman/listinfo/harvard-shared-shelf-users to subscribe.

Action 2: If others are experiencing the same system outages please email ForumSupport@jstor.org, and please copy LTS Support at:

                       lts-support@harvard-lts.libanswers.com.

! Issue: For anything not urgent, for example: workflow questions, navigational difficulties, additional training needs, JSTOR Forum not behaving as expected…

Action 1:  Seek help from the Harvard JSTOR Forum listserv: harvard-shared-shelf-users@calists.harvard.edu.

                           See http://calists.harvard.edu/mailman/listinfo/harvard-shared-shelf-users to subscribe.

Action 2: If the issue is not resolved locally (or Harvard colleagues are unavailable) and it is not an

issue of system slowness or inaccessibility, contact Harvard Library Technology Services by

submitting an LTS support request to:

                         http://nrs.harvard.edu/urn-3:hul.ois:reportaproblem

The LTS Support Desk will acknowledge the request, refer it to JSTOR Forum or LTS staff as

appropriate, and communicate with the staff member about the resolution of the

                         problem.
