Awaiting HD Pickup | Requests for materials that are ready to be returned to HD. |
Awaiting HD Processing | New requests for materials that are held at HD. Requests are automatically routed to this queue when they are submitted if they have HD, depository, or offsite in the Sublocation field. |
Awaiting Immediate Processing | New requests submitted by/for users who are currently signed into the reading room. |
Awaiting Item Reshelving | Requests for materials that should be reshelved. |
Awaiting Request Processing | Default status for new requests. |
Awaiting Request Processing - Reviewed | Requests that have been reviewed by staff, but not yet retrieved. |
Awaiting User Review | Requests that have been kept for the user's review and not yet submitted for processing. |
Being Searched | Requests for materials that could not be initially located when staff tried to retrieve them and staff might continue to search for them for several days. |
Cancelled by Staff | Requests that were cancelled by a staff member. |
Cancelled by User | Requests that were cancelled by the patron. |
External Restrictions Review in Process | Requests that are awaiting approval from a person/group external to the library before the patron may use materials. |
Immediate Problem Requests | Requests for materials that may be in use already and where the user is currently signed into the reading room. See the description for Problem Requests for more information. |
Imported From Legacy System | Requests that have been imported into Aeon from other systems. |
In Audiopreservation | Requests where materials are at Media Preservation Services. |
In Bindery | Requests where materials are at a bindery. |
In Conservation - Boxing | Requests where materials are being rehoused. |
In Conservation - On-Site | Requests where materials are being treated in repository conservation labs/spaces. |
In Conservation - Review | Requests where materials are being held for review for possible conservation treatment. |
In Conservation - WPC | Requests where materials are being treated in the Weissman Preservation Center. |
In Conservation for Activity - Activity Prep | Requests for activities where materials are being prepared for the activity. |
In Imaging Services | Requests where materials are at Imaging Services. |
In Imaging Services - Ready for Pickup | Requests where materials are at Imaging Services and imaging work has been completed. |

Item Reshelved | Requests where materials have been reshelved. This is a transitory queue and requests routed to this queue move immediately to Request Finished. |
Not on Shelf | Requests where materials could not be initially located when staff tried to retrieve them and may be missing. |
Out of Library Usage | Requests where materials are checked out by patrons and taken out of the library. |
Problem Requests | New requests where either the call number field is blank or the call number or HOLLIS id matches that of at least one other outstanding request. If the call number or HOLLIS id matches another request, the item may already be in use elsewhere. |
Problem Requests for Activity | New requests for activities where either the call number field is blank or the call number or HOLLIS id matches that of at least one other outstanding request. If the call number or HOLLIS id matches another request, the item may already be in use elsewhere. |
Remove from Hold | Requests where the patron has indicated by clicking on the Remove from Hold link in HOLLIS Special Request that she no longer needs the materials held for her. |
Request Finished | Requests that have been closed out. |
Request Merged | Requests that are inactive because they have been merged with other requests to create a new request. |
Request Record Open | New requests that have not been processed yet appear in this queue when a staff member has the request record open. |
