End of Semester
At the end of the semester, you will need to restore the item information before returning all the reserve items to their respective collections:
- Go to Fulfillment >> Resource Requests >> Scan in Items
- Click on the Change Item Information tab
- Choose Change Type Restore from the drop-down menu
- Check the box next to Check Requests so Alma will notify you of any other requests on each item
- Scan each barcode
- After scanning a set of items to Restore them to their Permanent Locations, go to Fulfillment >> Checkout/Checkin >> Return Items
- Scan each items in the Scan Item Barcode field so that they will be In Transit to their Permanent Locations
- Use existing local practices for handling the physical items
- Items for your library can be shelved
- Items for other libraries are tagged for their destination and placed in green tranfer bins
- Items for Offsite Storage are placed in red transfer bins
