End of Semester

At the end of the semester, you will need to restore the item information before returning all the reserve items to their respective collections:

  1. Go to Fulfillment >> Resource Requests >> Scan in Items
  2. Click on the Change Item Information tab
  3. Choose Change Type Restore from the drop-down menu
  4. Check the box next to Check Requests so Alma will notify you of any other requests on each item
  5. Scan each barcode
  6. After scanning a set of items to Restore them to their Permanent Locations, go to Fulfillment >> Checkout/Checkin >> Return Items
  7. Scan each items in the Scan Item Barcode field so that they will be In Transit to their Permanent Locations
  8. Use existing local practices for handling the physical items
    • Items for your library can be shelved
    • Items for other libraries are tagged for their destination and placed in green tranfer bins
    • Items for Offsite Storage are placed in red transfer bins
