Authorized Harvard Library Users
The table below shows the specific Harvard affiliations that are authorized for access to online library services. User authorization is defined and maintained in Harvard Grouper based on current Harvard affiliation. Affiliation status in Grouper is managed directly by HUIT IAM. Special exceptions must be approved individually by Harvard Library Access and Borrowing and are maintained in Grouper by LTS.
Any Harvard affiliations not specifically listed as authorized here do not have access.
Grouper Update Cycle
User data in Grouper reference groups are updated on an overnight cycle, so new/updated user access based on reference affiliation will typically be active by the following morning. Individual updates to Grouper managed groups are effective immediately.
