Adjusting Photoduplication Requests in Aeon
Instructions on how to update new requests.
How to determine if it is a photoduplication request?
A photo order will have two queues: a circulation queue and photoduplication queue. The circulation queue will vary; it can be Awaiting Request Processing or Problem Request. Almost always the photoduplication queue will be Order Submitted, but occasionally it will be in Awaiting Order Processing.
A photo order will also have the photoduplication information completed.
How do you edit the request?
If it is Any Queue/Awaiting Order Processing, do not work on it. Awaiting Order Processing only occurs when a staff member has created an order. Leave it for the staff member to fix.
If it is Awaiting (Immediate) Request Processing or (Immediate) Problem Request/ Order Submitted, update the bibliographical information and move the request into Awaiting Request Processing-Reviewed.
If the patron has ordered multiple items from a collection on one request, you may clone the request regardless of the copyright status of the item. Please copy the all item numbers into the notes field and then create the new requests.
If the material is from offsite, update the bibliographical information as you normally would, but move it into Awaiting HD Processing. (If there is a date, remove it. The staff member will add the date when they take the request.)
