Client Layout Filters

Client layout filters allow you customize your Aeon view. There are a lot of ways to use filters in Aeon. Some of the most common are described below, but you can find out more about filters from the Atlas Aeon documentation.

If you add a filter to any grid, it will remain part of the layout associated with your client user account unless you remove it.

Reading Room Filter

If you work in a reading room, you can filter the Signed In Users group on the Dashboard to display only the users signed into your reading room.

With a user signed into your reading room:

1. Click on the small funnel icon that appears when you hover over the Location column header.

2. From the list of Locations that appear, click on your reading room name.

The filter will be displayed at the bottom of the Signed In Users group. 

Activity Location Filter

If you work in a unit the manages activities, you can filter the Activities tab on the Dashboard to display only your unit's activities.

1. Click on the small funnel icon that appears when you hover over the Owning Library column header.

2. From the list of libraries that appear, click on your library's name.

The filter will be displayed at the bottom of the Activities tab. 

User Search Filter

You can filter out user accounts that are no longer active, such as disavowed and imported accounts, from your Dashboard user quick search.

1. Search for any user from the Dashboard.

2. Right click on any column header and select the Filter Editor option.

3. Click on the gray plus icon to add a filter.

4. Click on the Last Name text to see a list of user fields. Select the Cleared field.

5. Select the Is any of operator.

6. Enter the Yes, No, and EXP values into the list. You can enter additional values into the list by clicking on the gray plus icon next to the close parenthesis.

Photoduplication Orders Filter

In general, it is best to review and process patron photoduplication orders from the Order Submitted queue. You can filter these photoduplication orders out of the various request processing queues.

1. Open the Awaiting Request Processing queue.

2. Find the Photoduplication Status column.

3. Hover over the column label and click on the Filter icon.

4. From the list of filter options select the blank option.
