DRS / JSTOR Forum Image Linking Workflow
Workflow Summary:
This workflow facilitates linking of deliverable images in Harvard’s Digital Repository Service (DRS1 or DRS2) to JSTOR Forum Display Records.
New Display If Imaging Services at Widener has deposited your image files to the DRS, you can utilize the automated linking workflow within JSTOR Forum. Select the item records you wish to link by highlighting the records, once all records have been selected, right click and select "Link media", a dialog box will pop up and confirm how many images have been linked. If nothing links, they are either not in the DRS yet or were not deposited with the proper parameters.
Alternatively, a single image may be linked by opening the item record, selecting the "Media" link, then "Upload Media". In the dialog box, select "drs" instead of "file" and enter the DRS ID or urn for the image.
If you deposit your own image files and received a DRS deposit report, the following workflow allows for batch linking of images utilizing spreadsheets.
New Item Records are created within JSTOR Forum, and a spreadsheet is exported. Using your DRS load report, urns of the images to be linked are added to the spreadsheet. The spreadsheet is imported back to JSTOR Forum, with the urns automatically associated with their corresponding SSIDs.

Note: Exported JSTOR Forum Display Record spreadsheets are not sorted by SSID by default. Sorting by SSID is recommended.
4. Open your DRS load report in Excel, and copy the urn’s of the desired images.
