While Harvard Catalyst doesn’t allow you to directly upload your CV, in this article we will show you how in 3 simple steps, you can add a link to your CV on your profile.
Uploading you CV to a cloud storage
In this section we use Microsoft OneDrive as it is the Harvard preferred cloud storage solution. However you may be able to achieve the same result with other providers like Dropbox, Google Drive or Apple iCloud.
Open OneDrive under your Microsoft 360 apps and navigate to your "My Files" folder.
Click "Add New" > "File Upload" and upload your CV.
3 - Locate your uploaded CV in your list of files, click the "More Actions" icon (three dots)
4 - Select "Copy Link."
Click “Settings”
Select “Anyone” (who can access the link).
Choose “Can view” under permissions.
Click “Apply” to generate the shareable link.
6 - The generated link has been copied to your clipboard.
Creating a shortlink for your CV
This step is optional and you could directly go to next step and use the OneDrive link. However we strongly encourage you to create a shorlink as these links are easier to update and can be added to your lab website or your social media profiles, giving you one central location to update when you update your CV.
