High level updates from the past 3 months

  • Restarted financial billing operations (Termbill/AR) that had been off since March 2020
  • We've completed the backlog review of Fulfillment enhancements (18 in total) and are in the process of testing and implementing (7 in total) the enhancements that had traction with the group. We are in the process of forming a subgroup to review Leganto enhancements: conveners have been selected and a charge has been created, next steps are scheduling the meetings.
  • We developed and implemented a strategy for Quick Print rollout to solve the problem where hold slips would have long delays in printing and/or print twice.
  • Received an overview of Aleph HART data from Allison Powers and Jim Hodgson. Group discussed various use cases for the data.
  • Created ad-hoc group for reviewing Leganto requests and testing LTI 1.3

This involved developing plans to close out and complete existing projects (pseudo-patron cleanup, item policy 63, etc.) and preparing for FWG's new members (revisiting the charge, setting expectations, preparing for enhancement review, etc).

Initiatives or projects for the next 3 months

Review and, when appropriate, test Alma enhancements for Fulfillment and Leganto that were released from January 2020 to present. Fulfillment enhancements will be reviewed by FWG directly, Leganto enhancements will be reviewed with an ad hoc group of reserves experts led by FWG members.
