| Subject: Exciting Alma Enhancements, Spring 2025 Body: Hello,
I’m writing with an update on 2 Alma enhancements from the Alma Fulfillment Working Group (FWG) as the group’s communication lead.
Mark In Transit and In Process (aka Work Orders) Missing It is now possible to mark an item missing even if it has an “Transit” status or is “In Process” (the item has a Work Order on it). Gone are the days where you must mark the item “In Place” at its home library before marking it missing!
Patron Block Audio Notification To enhance productivity at the circulation desk, the new UX can be configured to play a sound alert when a block occurs during item check-out. This setting can be configured by Alma login. You can see this enhancement in action in this video. If you are interested in testing this option, please submit a ticket to LTS.
