Occasionally a patron will ask for a color bar or target with their order. In the past, this was a physical object that was photographed along with item; however, Imaging Services currently uses a digital synthetic color bar that is inserted after the image has been scanned. Please note that color bars are required when the patron requests an item to be digitized for use images will be used as a facsimile and that large orders with multiple objects that require color bars may benefit from a custom quoteedition. Large orders are entitled to a volume discount.
To write the order:
- For 1-5 images add the product Technical Target: per image with the appropriate count.
- For 5+ images add the product Technical Target: per set.
- For bound material add the product Technical Target: per set twice. (Once for the rectos and once for the versos.)
