Metadata, Acquisitions, and Collections Control (MACC)

The metadata section of the Metadata, Acquisitions, and Collections Control unit (formerly Rare Book Section) is responsible for the cataloging of printed and non-archival materials at the Technical Services for Archives and Special Collection, including the Harvard Theatre Collection and the Woodberry Poetry Room Collection. These range in date from the 15th to the 21st centuries and include monographs, serials, broadsides, graphics, objects, music, and maps.

Cataloging is done in OCLC Connexion and Alma, following the guidelines outlined in the MACC Cataloging Manual.
