In Macro Express version 4.3.0.1., the Macro Explorer window is set to open at startup by default. These instructions explain how to change the default setting.

Show/Do Not Show Macro Explorer on Startup

1.    Open Macro Express Pro Explorer by double-clicking on the red Macro Express icon in the system tray.

2.    Select “Options,” then “Preferences” in the toolbar.

3.    Select “Startup”.

4.    Uncheck the “Show Macro Explorer on startup” box under “Program Startup”. (Note: You can also uncheck the “Show the splash screen” box.)

5.    Click the “OK” button.

6.    Close the Macro Explorer window. (Either click the “x” button in the upper-right corner of the window or select “File” and “Terminate Macro Express Editor”.)
