To get a report of existing persistent identifiers, or to find a particular persistent identifier, the following options are available:

  • Batch load report. If the persistent identifier was requested at DRS batch deposit, it will be included in the load report for the batch. The load report is distributed by email to recipients identified in the deposit instructions (usually including the depositing agent and a curatorial contact).

  • NRS Web Admin. Staff with either the "proxy" or "authority" role can use NRS Web Admin to generate reports on persistent identifiers (PIDs) and their associated URLs (in authority paths for which they are authorized). Note: Web Admin does not support searching for persistent identifiers by the URL to which they refer.

  • Catalog record. If the associated digital object is described in a Harvard catalog (HOLLIS, VIA, OASIS), its catalog record is probably using the persistent identifier to link to the object.
