- Where will testing take place? In the ASpace QA instance:Â
- Staff mode: https://aspace-qa.lib.harvard.edu (VPN is required; log in using HKey).
- PUI mode: https://aspacepui-qa.lib.harvard.edu (VPN is required).
- If you have a problem accessing the QA instance, contact Julie Wetherill.
- How current is the data in QA? The QA database is a snapshot of production data taken on Wednesday August 25, 2021. Any updates made to prod after this date are not reflected in the QA database.
- Where are the test instructions?
- Staff mode tests (Google sheet) – Make a copy of the test spreadsheet for your local use (Go to File > Make a Copy). Add your repository name or 3-letter code to the file name of the copy. Consult the README tab of the spreadsheet for instructions.

- How do I report my test results?Â
- First, check the Dev Issues List to see if the problem you found in QA has already been reported.) as follows:Â
- Report one issue per message. Report it ASAP.
- Describe what you expected to happen and what actually happened.Â
- Describe the steps to reproduce the issue.
- Provide supporting information as needed: URL to the page, error message text, screenshots, web browser you're using, etc.
- Report each issue you find to the email list (aspace-software-testing@calists.harvard.eduFirst, check the Dev Issues List to see if the problem you found in QA has already been reported.
- Use the testing spreadsheet as your "scratchpad"Â to record findings, questions or notes as needed.Â
