Importing and Exporting Data

Importing data
File types you can import into ArchivesSpace:

Exporting data

To export a resource record, find the record you want to export, click “View”, click “Export”and then click “Download EAD” or Download MARC-XML.” The data downloads into a file that you can save.
To export CSV for archival objects in a resource, open the resource record (View or Edit mode). At the top of the resource, go to Export > Download CSV. A file will download to your browser. If you don't see the Download CSV option on the Export menu, reload the browser window and try again.
To export CSV for accession information, got to Browse --> Accessions and click the gray "Download as CSV" button (see screenshot). The data downloads into a file that you can save.
