Uninstalling the old Houghton macro suite

Close Copy_Houghton_Macros.mex

1. Open Macro Express Explorer (i.e., double click on the red M icon in your system tray)

2. Right click on Copy_Houghton_Macros.mex in the "Categories" pane

3. Select "Close file"

Delete "Houghton Macro Suite" and "Houghton Admin" macros

1. Locate the "Houghton Macro Suite" (orange book icon) and "Houghton Admin" (yellow key icon) macros in your personal file.

  • If you do not see these macros in the currently highlighted file, check all of the files listed in the "Categories" pane.
  • If you cannot find either macro, stop and ask Houghton's Macro Express liaison for help. Deleting these files is important.

2. Right click on "Houghton Macro Suite" macro and select "Delete Macro(s)"

3. Click "Yes" when the "Confirm Delete" message appears

5.Right click on "Houghton Admin" macro and select "Delete Macro(s)"

5. Click "Yes" when the "Confirm Delete" message appears

Delete Copy_Houghton_Macros.mex file

1. Open Windows Explorer (Win + e)

2. Open the Macro Express Pro\Houghton folder on the C: drive: C:\Program Files\Macro Express Pro\Houghton

3. Delete the Copy_Houghton_Macros.mex file
