Finding IDs in Chrome
The easiest way to locate images in the Digital Repository Service is by finding the display image IDs. Below are several methods to determine the display ID in both the PDS and the IDS.
IDS
- Navigate to the link.
- Copy the ID number at the end of the web address

PDS
Finding an Individual ID in a Multi Page Object
- Navigate to the sequence requested
2. Press control + U, which will bring you to the underlying coding.
3. Once there, press CTRL + F and box will open.
4. Enter ".json" in the box.
5. Page will navigate to the individual ID.
6. Follow these instructions to find the image in the DRS2.
Using the Object ID to Find an Individual ID in a Multi Page Object
- Navigate to the link and advance to the sequence requested.
- Copy the digital object ID found close to the end of the web address (after “drs:” and before “$”).
- Note the sequence number.
4. Follow these instructions to find the image in the DRS2.
