TT055: LISE Magnetometer ADC

TipTop1590G base with a ToprMagADC digitizing the 3-axis Stefan-Mayer fluxgate magnetometer, and a ToprStepup generating a clean +10V from the 5V USB power, allowing for a Power Over Ethernet solution.

TT055 sends X, Y, Z mag data in CSV form to a Raspberry Pi.




The TipTop is minimal – just the processor and non-isolated USB.  5V power comes from USB.

The ToprStepup board takes 5V from the USB, puts it through a forward converter and regulates it to 12V, then sends that back to the TipTop, and over to the ToprMagADC board.

ToprMagADC:



Arduino code digitizes three mag channels, then sends them out in CSV format in units of mGauss x 10, with an offset of 32768.

Update interval currently 1000msec, can be reduced to about 200msec by adjusting the INTERVAL parameter.
