Aeon

Each digitization project should have its own activity in Aeon. You can find instructions here on how to create an activity and add requests. 

Create Activity

  1. Click on the activity button
  2. Enter 
    1. Owning Library: Houghton
    2. Name: Name of digitization project with HOU prefix 
    3. Type: Digitization Project
    4. Staff Contact: name of Houghton Library staff member


Add Requests to Activity

  1. Go to the Department Aeon site.
  2. Click New Request for User
  3. Create new Aeon request
    1. Enter Call Number
    2. If necessary import the box number under the Archives Containers import tool
    3. Import the information from the Catalog Search addon
  4. Under Request Information 
    1. Go to Request For
    2. Choose Activity
    3. Double Click on the Activity Title
    4. Save request
