Overview of Digitization Project Workflow

Generally speaking, collection digitization projects involve the following steps.

1. Repository submits a proposal (see "project proposal / intake forms" section of Requesting Collections Digitization Services from Imaging Services page)

2. Imaging Services reviews the project proposal

3. Imaging Services responds to the repository about the project proposal

4. Imaging Services reviews the collection

5. Imaging Service develops a project specification

6. Materials delivery and digitization

7. Project completion
