Databases intro for library staff
Databases http://nrs.harvard.edu/urn-3:hul.ois:databases is a customized search view of Primo, the same software that supports HOLLIS. The Database Search Task Group is continuing to gather staff feedback and work with Discovery to Delivery (D2D), LTS and ITS on continued development.

Databases local fields:
The Content Type facet is based on local field 915
The Subject listing and Subject Category facet are based on local field 916. The Subject Categories display under each title in search results, following the order of the MARC fields.
In Alma, the system will suggest terms that match the string being entered in field 915 or 916. Select the desired term from the drop-down list and Alma will enter a shortened form, e.g. "archival" for Archival materials. Keep the shortened form. A list of all codes for 915 and 916 is below.
The subfield $a for the local fields 915/916 should not be repeated in the same line. Each subject and resource type code should have its own line.
