Keithley Tests
Goal is to create a solar cell measurement setup that can be used for the LSST CBP.
As such, we are running tests in with a Keithley 6517A, which can then be ported to the 6517B instruments that they have in Tucson.
This code will take and read charge measurements with the Keithley at rates you set (down to a spacing of 7 ms). We use an rs232 to usb cable. Note: we needed to change the code being used in France by increasing the sleep time between sending commands and also by turning the buffer reading off before reading out of the buffer.
Additional tests to be completed:
- use voltage output with voltage divider as the current offset for the solar cell, and make sure you can cancel the leakage current
- make sure you can read out when data is being taken into the digital analyzer
