Charge


Reporting to the Borrow Direct Migration Project Executive Oversight Committee and in collaboration with other Functional Working Groups, the Borrow Direct Access Services Working Group will lead evaluating and informing Borrow Direct Access Services functions. Scope of work includes patron-facing documentation, and testing all patron-facing interfaces and functions.

Participant expectations:    

  • Collaborate with Borrow Direct Migration working groups to ensure a seamless transition and communication plan for patrons and staff
  • Test Reshare Returnables patron interfaces and request mechanisms
  • Contact patrons to retrieve overdue Borrow Direct requests
  • Create and update local patron-facing documentation regarding BorrowDirect (FAQs, How-To's, Libanswers macros) and distribute to HL stakeholders
  • Assist patrons with extracting request history from Relais D2D
  • Attend IPLC Open Hours events and virtual training
  • Maintain and develop local documentation
  • Determine needs for canned reports and dashboards
  • Communicate best practices to the Harvard community
