Quickprint works the same way that all non-Alma browser printing works. When a printjob is kicked off, a browser window opens  prompting the user to select a destination for the printout. This process takes place outside of Alma. Instructions and troubleshooting for Quickprint:

1. Log in to Alma and select "Currently at" location. Then choose the appropriate printer; if you don't see a printer selection option, you can skip this step. In this example, we will select the WID Null printer. Make sure to check the box next to "Enable quick printing:"
2. Print as usual. In this example we are printing a hold slip. Upon returning the item to activate the hold, a preview/dialog box pops up. Confirm the destination printer that should receive the print job:
   
3. Click "Print" ("Save" on some computers). The slip will be printed at the chosen printer. 

Troubleshooting:

• Make sure pop-ups aren't disabled on the browser
• Use the Chrome browser
• Make sure Quick Print is selected in the printer selection menu
• Doubleprints: make sure that you have a "null" printer selected in step 1 above, and/or that an email address associated with a printer isn't generating an additional print out
