Pseudopatron Monitoring

Problem summary:  Activities tracked in Aleph by pseudopatrons are tracking in Alma by workorders.  All loans and requests that migrated from Aleph should "age out" naturally in Alma by returning the loaned item being returned or fulfilling the hold request after during the normal processing workflow.

Impact statement: These loans and requests do not display to users in HOLLIS consistently with workorder displays.  In some cases, the use of pseuopatrons may interfere with request logic. There are many aged loans and requests on pseudopatrons that are unlikely to age out and will need review.

Scope:  Spot checking pseudopatrons in Septembers revealed that transaction counts were decreasing as expected.

Remediation Proposal:  Natural completion of processing workflows and resolution of "item not in place" items is expected to greatly reduce the quantity of pseudopatron loans and requests.   These pseudopatrons should be reviewed after the "item not in place" cleanup is complete but no earlier than December 2018 to update scope numbers and determine timeline/process for remediation activities.
