L02 Detailed Descriptions

L02 - Loose documents, up to 11"x17" (Under Loose Materials Categories) ^{^}

High quality digital imaging (captured at 300 dpi) for complete collections of loose materials where the emphasis is on legible content.

Flat, loose pages
Sturdy enough to handle and sheet-feed without damage
No fasteners
Accurately sequenced and segregated into digital objects with corresponding descriptions

Especially fragile materials and/or extremely brittle, thin or cockled paper may be considered eligible following a review by a conservator and/or Imaging Services staff. Such materials may require additional charges for handling.
Minimum of at least 1,000 pages
Pages will be scanned in the same orientation they've been prepared and arranged, as determined by the first page/item in the document.
