L02 - Loose documents, up to 11"x17" (Under Loose Materials Categories) ^

High-volume Sheet-feeding Scanner

High quality digital imaging (captured at 300 dpi) for complete collections of loose materials where the emphasis is on legible content. 

Eligible source materials

  • Flat, loose pages
  • Sturdy enough to handle and sheet-feed without damage
  • No fasteners
  • Accurately sequenced and segregated into digital objects with corresponding descriptions

Note

  • Especially fragile materials and/or extremely brittle, thin or cockled paper may be considered eligible following a review by a conservator and/or Imaging Services staff. Such materials may require additional charges for handling.
  • Minimum of at least 1,000 pages
  • Pages will be scanned in the same orientation they've been prepared and arranged, as determined by the first page/item in the document.
