Access to the Aeon Network Drive
Staff using Aeon will need access to certain files located on a HUL network drive in order to use addons and print callslips and other documents. Access to the network drive can be requested by the Aeon library login liaisons for new staff members. Follow the instructions below to request network drive access and then map the network drive.
Request Access to the Network Drive from HUIT
When you have a new staff member, you will first need to submit a request to central HUIT using the following instructions:
- Send an email to ithelp@harvard.edu and copy Joshua Parker - joshua_parker@harvard.edu
- Include in the email that you are requesting that a staff member be added to the HUL-AeonALL-RW permissions group.
- Include the staff member’s name and central account ID (that can be found on https://connections.harvard.edu/ as part of the staff directory record).
Access to the HUL drives is restricted, so an Authorized Requester will need to approve your request. They will follow up with HUIT directly to approve your request.
