PO Line Templates
What are PO Line Templates?
Creating and using PO Line templates can save time when creating a POL.
The templates save information from the POL summary tab. They do not save the Purchase type or PO Line owner fields
See: List of fields saved in a POL Template
Â
A user can chose from a set of Public templates or create any number of their own private templates.Â
Public templates
- Can be used by everyone
- Can be created by anyone
- Only the template owner or an Acquisitions Administrator can edit or delete a public template
Private templates
- Can only be seen and used by the template owner / creator
Using PO Line Templates
When you create an order, you can select an existing template from the initial PO Line owner and type screen:
- PO Line type - choose the correct type
- PO Line owner - choose the correct POL Owner
- Load from template - choose from an existing template to apply it to your order
Â
