16. Adding Rights Restrictions

Setting maximum image delivery size

The default maximum size for digital images delivered by the Image Delivery Service (IDS) is 2400 pixels in the largest dimension. But curators can set a lower maximum delivery size for their images on object-by-object basis (applies to jpegs and JP2s).

To set the restriction for all new batches that you will create in a BB project:

• In Object Template select the directory that will contain images that needs to be restricted
• Click on Optional metadata panel
• Enter Max Pixel Dimension restriction in pixels
• Select Rights Basis (required)

To set restriction for an individual object in existing batch:

• Select the directory that contains the images that need to be restricted inside the object
• Click on Optional metadata panel
• Enter Max Pixel Dimension restriction in pixels
• Select Rights Basis (required)
