This import profile is designed for records that include the Harvard Alma 001 MMS ID in the 001 field. No other matching criteria will be evaluated other than 001.Â
This profile does nothing to the bib record.Â
Input file must be Excel.Â
Results:
- No inventory will be created, unless field 049 is present. (See below for details).Â
- This profile cannot be used to map fields to holdings.Â

Example use case:
- Your vendor retrieves our bib via z39.50 and updates the record in their system. They then send you a file of updated bibs with the Harvard Alma MMS ID in the 001 field, and item information for serials.Â
